Richard Groh, President
Mr. Groh brings over 25 years of commercial real estate experience and first-hand
knowledge in implementing fiscal cost controls, overseeing capital improvements,
managing leasehold relationships, developing strong owner relationships and
delivering high quality tenant service. Prior to joining
Forest City in 2010, Mr. Groh
worked for various real estate management firms Globetrotters International, Urban
Innovations, Jones Lang LaSalle and Stein & Company.

Nancy M. Schwaller, Vice President
Nancy Schwaller became involved with Survive Alive Foundation in 1990 through
her association with the Chicago Board of Underwriters. She has previously served as
a Director and the Secretary of the Foundation. She is President of
Schwaller
Insurance Agency, Inc., in Orland Park, IL. Nancy has held the Certified Insurance
Counselor designation since 1998 and writes multiple lines of insurance including
personal, business, life, health & retirement products.

Dave Ryan, Treasurer
David Ryan has been involved with one aspect of banking or another since 1990. He
graduated from University of Illinois with a degree in economics in 1989 and
obtained his MBA from Governors State University in 1993. He has been the
treasurer of SAHF since 2000 after having been treasurer for a local charity for
several years prior. He lives in Indiana with his wife, Anne, two cats and a chinchilla.
His passions are classical music, especially piano and harp, and amateur astronomy.

Jill Friedrichs,
Secretary
Jill Friedrichs has served the Survive Alive House Foundation as Secretary for four
years. She was the executive assistant and secretary for the Illinois Fire Safety
Alliance for more than 15 years. Jill has devoted a significant part of her career to
promoting fir safety, burn prevention, and public education programs.

Don Olson,
Director
Don Olson retired in 2009 after spending 42 years in the steel industry specifically
with Inland Steel and its subsequent purchaser – ArcelorMittal. He spent most of
those years working in areas including marketing and communications with
responsibility at various times for advertising, promotion, event planning and office
management. Don also worked on a number of steel industry communication panels
and functions. He is a US Army veteran.

Ron Mori, Director
Ron Mori has been in the public affairs field for over 20 years, and has worked with
the Survive Alive House Foundation for over 10 years from the corporate sector.
Currently he is Principal of MORI Consulting in Chicago. In addition, Ron is a
volunteer crew captain for Metropolitan Emergency Support Services, which provides
support services to fire and police departments in suburban Chicago.

Roger Wm. Remblake, RPA, Director
Roger has been in the commercial real estate industry for over twenty years,
experienced in both engineering and management positions. He currently serves as a
member to BOMA Chicago and as appointed commissioner to the Buffalo Grove
Emergency Management Agency. Roger also attended DePaul University and is a
Certified Fire Safety Director as well as a member of IUOE Local 399.

Chris Hasbrook, Director
Chris Hasbrook is the Vice President of the
Underwriters Laboratories’ Global
Building Materials & Suppressions Industry as well as UL'S Life Safety & Security
Industry. Chris holds as MBA from DePaul University and a Bachelor’s Degree in
Finance from the University of Notre Dame. He was made an Honorary Fire Chief
by Chicago Fire Department in 2010. Chris lives in Chicago with his wife Kerry and
their three children.

Christopher Sheehy, Director
Chris Sheehy is the President of Infusion E-Business.
Chris has spent his entire tech
career focused around using technology to build, track, enhance and deliver highly successful
marketing campaigns. He has taken that experiece and built both a platform and a team laser
focused on E-Business Consulting services, providing all the support and services necessary
to have a successful e-commerce presence. From designing, to building and hosting all the way
through Search Engine Marketing, tracking, and on-going conversion and marketing optimization.

Doreen Chambers, retired,The Chicago Fire Department. Doreen served on the Chicago Fire Department for
34 years as a Paramedic and retired as a Paramedic Field Chief in 2010. She is also a member of the St.Stephen
& St. Joseph Society of Castel San Vincenzo, Italy.

Joseph Roccasalva, Ex-Officio Director
Chief Roccaslava serves as the liason between the City of Chicago Fire Department
and the SAHF board of directors. He informs the board of cooperative opportunities
to serve the community in the areas of public education and safety.

Mark Kelly, Past President
Mark is the immediate past president of the SAHF. He is currently a Partner with
new Edison Energy LLC in Batavia, IL. His area of focus is energy efficiency
implementation with expertise in grocery, food service and commercial properties.
Mark is the former President and CEO of Urban Innovations, a Chicago-based real
estate development company. His background includes more than 25 years in
commercial real estate, property management, construction and architecture. Mark
holds graduate and postgraduate degrees in architecture from the University of
Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Mark has also served as past-President of the River
North Business Association.
